On Wednesday, February 4, Hy’s of Canada and the Vancouver Community College Foundation welcomed guests to Gotham Steakhouse & Bar for the annual John Aisenstat Memorial Scholarship fundraiser. The evening raised a record $16,675 in support of the scholarship endowment, which assists students pursuing careers in hospitality.

Industry partners, family, and friends gathered to share great food and wine, swap stories, and honour John’s lasting impact on Vancouver’s restaurant community. Evening sponsor, Castello Banfi provided incredible wines and the Gotham culinary team showcased Italian-inspired hors d’oeuvres.
